The Soft Pop trend of Spring/Summer 2015 encompassed chalky pastels, opalescent + holographic finishes, mixed textures and whimsical imagery. Through found imagery and original drawings, I cut and pasted elements to create digital collages. The act of making mood boards has always resinated with me as a way to jump-start inspiration or organize thoughts, but these collages bring about a curated and intentional story-telling element. Combining my love of color, pattern, texture with a light-hearted perspective, the Soft Pop trend comes alive.
